CITY OF BEVERLY HILLS HONORS NEW ISRAELI-AMERICAN CIVIC INITIATIVE
Mayor and City Council Support “Get Out the Vote” Campaign

Beverly Hills, California: The Israeli-American Civic Education Institute and Chief Advocacy Officer Dillon Hosier were honored last night at the Beverly Hills City Council meeting by Mayor Julian Gold in recognition of the organization’s commitment to empowering Israeli-Americans through civic engagement and advocacy education.

Councilmember Lili Bosse read the official proclamation, “we the City Council of the City of Beverly Hills, do hereby commend Dillon Hosier and the Israeli-American Civic Education Institute for contributing to voter education and outreach in Beverly Hills and further extend our support for a successful ‘Get Out the Vote’ campaign.”

The Israeli-American Civic Education Institute launched in September as the first phase of a new initiative to ensure first-generation immigrants from Israel and their families are civically educated, engaged, and empowered to advocate on behalf of their communities across the United States.

Chief Advocacy Officer Dillon Hosier, thanking the Mayor and City Council said, “Your recognition of the Israeli-American constituency inspires many who thought that they were too insignificant to matter.” Hosier concluded by saying, “Beverly Hills showed Israelis in America that regardless of the size of a community, we are a nation seeking to be a more perfect union, that we fight inequality of all kinds, and that e pluribus unum is more than just a motto, it is a way of civic life that welcomes everyone.”
